About the region
CCLHD is located between
Sydney and Newcastle
and covers an area of
1854 square kilometres. The service is administered from Gosford and extends from from Gwandalan and
Doyalson in the north,
down the coast to
Patonga in the south
and west to Bucketty
and beyond Mangrove
Creek.
CCLHD comprises of hospitals located at Gosford, Wyong, Woy Woy, Long jetty. It has an extensive array of community services. A population of over 300,000 people live on the Central Coast and the region continues to grow at one of the fastest rates in NSW. Just one hour from Sydney and Newcastle, the region offers great opportunities for business with both land available and skilled local workforce. There is considerable diversity in the population we serve and our staff.
